Perfect Competition
Perfect Competition is the first of the 4 Market Structures. When many small firms create or produce a homogenous product then Perfect Competition is created. The following characteristics define a perfect competition structure:
- Many firms
- Homogenous product
- The firms and consumers act independently
- The freedom of firms to come and go
- Firms and consumers are well informed
- Firms have no price control
